Drivers in Ohio can control many things when they are on the road. A 22-year-old woman was recently arrested and charged with driving under the influence after she crashed her car into another vehicle on the interstate. The apparent drunk driving accident occurred when the woman was driving her 2014 Honda Odyssey the wrong way on the road and hit a 2001 Chevrolet Cavalier. The 47-year-old male driver of the Chevrolet was driving home from his job when the accident happened. He was killed.
During the investigation, law enforcement gave the woman a breathalyzer test to determine the amount of alcohol in her system and it came to 0.122. Authorities also believe that the woman might have been under the influence of drugs at the time of the car collision. She was tested for that as well. Police say she admitted to having had 4 or 5 alcoholic drinks prior to the crash. She is facing charges of aggravated vehicular homicide.
